Great Northern Motorbike Adventures is in the business of providing high quality, value for money guided off-road motorcycle adventures in Far North Queensland. We have a lifetime of motorcycle riding experience and promote safety, fun and inclusiveness for all levels of riding ability. 

Participants are expected to have some ability in the operation of a motorcycle and must have at a minimum a motorcycle learners permit for legal use on Queensland public roads and tracks. 

Great Northern Motorbike Adventures will, at times, alter the course or obstacle to cater to the lowest level of riding ability and / or request from participants should they not feel comfortable completing such an obstacle. 

Conditions 

– All participants are to sign a disclaimer prior to any trip commencement

– The participant understands that off-road motorcycles are gasoline powered vehicles which can suddenly and violently accelerate, turn, overturn (especially on inclined surfaces and/or lose control depending on its operation, terrain and/or weather conditions.

– By entering the tour the participant is at risk of death or suffering personal injury (both physical and physcological)(“Harm) arising from Great Northern motorbike Adevntures conducting its business

-Great Northern Motorbike Adventures recommends riders take out adequate and appropriate travel insurance for the duration of the tour dates. Great Northern Motorbike Adventures, its agents, assigns and contractors accept no responsibility for a participants failure to arrange appropriate cover

-The participant agrees to adhere to all directions and instructions given by the tour guide and will conduct themselves with common sense and diligence so as not to cause risk or danger to themselves or others.

-Participants are expected to conduct themselves with respect of camp grounds, stations, restaurants and bars visited whilst on a Great Northern Motorbike Adventure 

Payments and Refunds

A NON REFUNDABLE $1,300 deposit is required at time of booking with balance to be finalised no more than 30 days prior to trip commencement. NO REFUNDS of the balance if trip is cancelled within 30 days of commencement of the tour. Participants agree to pay for damage they cause to the motorcycle whilst on tour (as you would your own bike). 

Safety Standard and Expectations

Great Northern Motorbike Adventures operates with a safety first mentality. We will not compromise the safety of our staff, participants or suppliers with reckless or unsafe behaviour. Participants are expected to be free from alcohol or other drugs at the commencement of each riding day. A safety brief will be given by the guide at the beginning of each day and when certain obstacles are encountered. As we operate in harsh and isolated environments participants are expected to show common sense and should familiarise themselves with croc wise safety expectations. Our tour guides are trained in first aid and have satellite and telephone communication as well as emergency beacons at all times in case of emergency. The use and operation of this equipment will be shown to all participants prior to trip commencement.
